Summer Foundation: Mainstream Housing Options

Mainstream Housing Options

The Summer Foundation's guide to mainstream housing options is for people with disability who aren't eligible for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), but still want to choose where they live and who they live with. The guide explains the different types of mainstream housing (any housing that is not SDA) and will help you look for housing that suits you.

This guide was created by the Summer Foundation and last updated in June 2023. It may include information and links that aren't up to date. The Housing Hub will update this guide as soon as we can.
