Accessible Housing and Support Data Snapshot

The Accessible Housing & Support Data Snapshot is designed to highlight market insights, build shared knowledge among Housing and Support Providers, and bring forward the voice and needs of people with disability.

The Housing Hub collects a wide range of data through our platform, which is designed to help people seeking accessible housing and support find the right property and services, while also connecting providers with active seekers. We publish a quarterly summary of this data and share it with our customers, users and broader community to help drive the development of housing and support options that truly meet the needs of people with disability across Australia.

Inside the Snapshot, you’ll find:

  • Key insights from Housing Hub search and platform data
  • Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) insights, including estimated vacancy rates and areas of potential oversupply
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) insights, including details on Seeker preferences for support
  • Suburb breakdowns showing those with the highest SDA and SIL vacancies
  • A spotlight on our most successful property listings from the past quarter
  • And more

The Accessible Housing and Support Data Snapshot presents data for the quarter ending 30 June 2025 (1 April - 30 June 2025).

The data sources used for the report are as follows:

  • Housing Hub Data: Housing Hub data from seeker property searches or from property listings created by housing and support providers. Shown as "HH Data" in the Data Snapshot.
  • NDIA Data: NDIA data from the quarterly report appendix P or the NDIA's SDA Demand Projections report. Shown as "NDIA Data" in the Data Snapshot. NDIA data is from 31 March 2025 (quarter 4 data has not yet been released).
