We can guide and connect you through the appeal process if your SDA outcome doesn't meet your housing needs and preferences. This can include reviewing your evidence and connecting you to legal and advocacy support.
We provide secondary consultation to support your team in preparing and reviewing evidence to support your housing application.
The Housing Hub is an initiative of the Summer Foundation, which has been invested in great housing outcomes for people with disability since it was founded in 2006. The Housing Hub was established in 2017 and have significant expertise to support people with disability through the housing journey.
Our Support Coordination team has partnered with Verbinding Support Coordination to deliver you a service that focuses on your housing journey. The collaboration is delivered under Verbinding’s registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

We are experts. The Housing Hub is invested in quality housing for people with disability. Our team has worked to become subject matter experts and we have led many initiatives to educate the disability community and housing providers about quality housing for people with disability.
We deliver quality. Our experience means we understand what quality reports look like and include. We understand SDA eligibility and applicable legislation. We can assist you to quickly work out whether to apply for SDA funding and/or look at other housing options.
Kelly Chait is the Support Coordination Lead in the Housing Hub team at the Summer Foundation. Kelly leads the Support Coordination Team to support people with disability who are seeking support to explore housing options and along their housing journey. Kelly is an Occupational Therapist who specialised in spinal rehabilitation, working more than 10 years within the health sector in both NSW and Victoria. Kelly joined the Summer Foundation team in 2019 and has had significant experience in the NDIS and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
Rachel assists participants to explore housing options and put together applications that are suited to individual needs and preferences, with a particular focus on Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). Rachel's role is part of a pilot program at the Housing Hub, which enables NDIS participants to access Support Coordination specific to their housing needs. Rachel has a background in community services and has worked in the not-for-profit and local government space. Her experience ranges from family support work, community-based Aged Care, through to supporting people affected by the criminal justice system and social housing tenants with complex needs.
Jesse is one of our SDA experts and supports the team in answering the SDA Advice Line. Jesse has a background in Psychology and comes to the Housing Hub from the ABA program supporting children with Autism. He also has a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from La Trobe University. In his role as a Housing Options Facilitator on the Housing Hub Team, he is your first point of contact on the SDA advice line. He can help out with information about SDA, put you in touch with existing Support Coordination services in your area.
