SDA Provider Experience Survey Report
This Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Provider Experience Survey has been prepared by the Housing Hub and the Summer Foundation.
The report finds that many SDA providers are carrying significant commercial risks and are facing serious challenges in the SDA market.
Recommendations in the report include that the government invests in the demand side of the SDA market, including the NDIA taking a more active approach in identifying, engaging and supporting people to move into new SDA. Changes to SDA processes and procedures to prevent prolonged vacancies and capital loss are also paramount.
This report helps to build an evidence base that can be used to help the Australian government to take a more active stewardship role in the SDA market.
