Megan is a qualified occupational therapist with experience in community, rehabilitation and education settings. She has worked extensively in the disability sector, most recently in a program management position for VMCH and as a Coordinator of Supports with Ablelink. Megan holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and a Bachelor of Occupational Science and Therapy from Deakin University.

Jo works with organisations across New South Wales to increase awareness of SDA housing. Jo was previously involved in the Summer Foundation’s NDIS Connections project, which involved working directly with young people living in aged care to assist them to gain access to the NDIS.
Jo has previously been employed as a hospital social worker for 15 years across a number of areas including ABI/neurology/trauma rehabilitation, cardiology and oncology.

Maria is a qualified Social Worker with over 20 years experience across disability services and health sectors in Australia, Germany and India. Veronica’s role within the Housing Hub Team is to engage people with disability, their families and supporters, professionals in the sector and connect them with newly built housing and the Housing Hub platform. Veronica is regularily attending events and forums spreading the word about SDA.
Veronica, who has a background in hospitality, events and community engagement, joined us at the beginning of 2020. She is a passionate advocate for justice and human rights and believes people with disability should have choice and control, especially in regard to the basic right to choose where you want to live.

Claire has worked in an array of healthcare settings nationally and internationally, Claire has worked in pivotal roles including establishing ground breaking services for vulnerable people which led to an invite to 10 Downing Street, London!

Sophie has worked as a speech pathologist, researcher and project worker and has extensive experience working with people who have a range of support needs.
Sophie has delivered staff training across the health sector relating to current NDIS processes and practices, including SDA. Sophie has also worked on research projects, exploring outcomes for people with traumatic brain injury living in different models of accommodation. This experience have given Sophie knowledge of the benefits of people with disability living in appropriate housing and possible issues they may experience.

As a Housing Hub project manager, Gunnar is responsible for the project management of our housing matching teams in New South Wales and Queensland.
Gunnar joined the Summer Foundation in 2020 and has brought a wealth of knowledge to the organisation. He has extensive experience in general management, as well as national operations management in the health care sector.

Emma brings with her 25 years in health and disability services from the UK and Victoria. With interstate and international experience in disability accommodation, support services, leadership, customer engagement, case management and training, Emma was part of a team who worked with the first NDIS rollout in the Barwon region and is a strong advocate for the rights of people with disabilities.
Located in Brisbane South, Emma is well placed for connecting in with organisations, hospitals, individuals and networks in the region. Emma will assist housing seekers to apply for properties in Queensland.
