We can guide and connect you through the appeal process if your SDA outcome doesn't meet your housing needs and preferences. This can include reviewing your evidence and connecting you to legal and advocacy support.
We provide secondary consultation to support your team in preparing and reviewing evidence to support your housing application.
The Housing Hub is an initiative of the Summer Foundation, which has been invested in great housing outcomes for people with disability since it was founded in 2006. The Housing Hub was established in 2017 and has significant expertise to support people with disability through the housing journey.
Our Support Coordination team has partnered with Verbinding Support Coordination to deliver you a service that focuses on your housing journey. The collaboration is delivered under Verbinding’s registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

We are experts. The Housing Hub is invested in quality housing for people with disability. Our team has worked to become subject matter experts and we have led many initiatives to educate the disability community and housing providers about quality housing for people with disability.
We deliver quality. Our experience means we understand what quality reports look like and include. We understand SDA eligibility and applicable legislation. We can assist you to quickly work out whether to apply for SDA funding and/or look at other housing options.
Kelly Chait is the Support Coordination Lead at the Housing Hub. Kelly leads the Support Coordination Team to support people with disability who are seeking support to explore housing options and along their housing journey. Kelly is an Occupational Therapist who specialised in spinal rehabilitation, working more than 10 years within the health sector in both NSW and Victoria. Kelly also has a Masters degree in Health Management. Kelly joined the organisation in 2019 and has had significant experience in the NDIS and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
Jesse is a Support Coordinator in the Housing Hub team. Jesse has a background in Psychology and also has experience as an ABA therapist supporting children with Autism. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from La Trobe University. Jesse has significant knowledge in NDIS housing, having previously worked on the Housing Hub’s SDA advice line. Jesse is a compassionate and knowledgeable support coordinator. Jesse is based in Victoria.
Meryn is a support coordinator at the Housing Hub. Megan has experience working with young people, specifically with First Nations youth. During this time, she coordinated and worked as part of teams to provide residential care, educational programs and recreational activities to young people, in particular for those experiencing challenges in their lives. Meryn is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Meryn is based in Victoria.
Georgia is a Support Coordinator at the Housing Hub. She has a Bachelor’s in Health Science, a Master’s in Gender Studies and is currently completing her PhD in Occupational Therapy. Georgia has lived with a spinal injury for the past 18 years and plays wheelchair basketball for Australia, competing in the Commonwealth Games in 2022. Georgia is based in Western Australia.
Craig is the Housing Information Coordinator in the Housing Hub team, assisting people with information regarding NDIS housing options. Craig is your first point of contact on the SDA Advice Line – 1300 61 64 63. He can help out with information about SDA and other NDIS housing options, put you in touch with existing support coordination services in your area and give you information about our support coordination service. Craig has 15 years of experience in disability accommodation & respite service (now STA) for the QLD government in various roles as a Support Worker, Service Advisor, and a Direct Service Team Leader. He has a Diploma in Community Services and has assisted in the planning and assessments for clients in collaboration with clinicians and other stakeholders to create more person-centred outcomes.
