Separating Housing & Support – a webinar for Support Coordinators

Housing Hub have teamed up with Hireup to bring you this event.

Housing and personal supports are perhaps the two most important things NDIS participants should have choice and control over.

Before the NDIS, and still in some cases today, housing and support were combined and offered by the same provider, creating problems for people who are unhappy with either their housing or the support they’re receiving.

This webinar is focussed on support coordinators and other disability sector professionals. You’ll find out more about NDIS housing options, how you can support participants to exercise choice and control and use independent support to meet housing goals. We’ll leave plenty space to answer your questions. Join us!

The Housing Hub team is passionate about giving people with disability the knowledge they need so they can find the home that is right. With the NDIS there are new choices. Our team includes staff with lived experience who will share their expertise.

Hireup is an NDIS registered online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests. People all over Australia use Hireup to manage their own support workers and live independently.
