National Data Report Inclusions

The National Data Report includes a spreadsheet and interactive dashboard. Reports are released in January, April, July and October each year and include the three preceding months of data for demand and supply indicators by SA3 (suburb-level) and SA4 locations (municipal-level). These locations are Statistical Areas set by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. 

Demand data sources include Housing Hub’s property searches, NDIA demand projections and NDIA demand data from the quarterly reports. Supply data sources include NDIA data on enrolled and unfinished SDA from the quarterly reports and Housing Hub’s SDA Supply in Australia Survey data for early pipeline.

Pricing

  • 3 months of data (one report): $2,500 + GST
  • 6 months of data (two reports): $4,500 + GST
  • 12 months of data (four reports): $8,000 + GST

Along with these comprehensive market data reports, the Housing Hub offers the following four reports free of charge to providers on a paid listing subscription plan. The reports can be purchased for those not listing properties with the Housing Hub.

It combines survey findings from SDA providers conducted by the Housing Hub in September 2024, with NDIA data on enrolled SDA. The report offers insights into current and forecasted SDA supply, provider strategies, and future development plans.

  • Accessible Housing Snapshot: This report provides valuable insights for Housing Providers in Australia's accessible housing market. The report highlights the needs and preferences of people with disability for accessible housing alongside the profile of the properties listed on the Housing Hub. This report identifies areas where supply is not meeting the needs of the potential tenants.  
    • Cost if non-paying subscriber: $250 ex GST

  • Provider Experience Survey: The 2023 SDA Provider Experience Report summarises the results of the Housing Hub's third annual survey of SDA providers, capturing feedback from 41 providers representing nearly a quarter of all New Build SDA dwellings and places in the market. The report highlights challenges such as financial pressures from high vacancy rates and delayed NDIA payments and includes recommendations for improving market stability and outcomes for both participants and providers.
