Housing Projects Coordinator SA, VIC & NSW

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and driven professional who is willing to put sustained efforts and eternal energy into completing Tenancy Matching Projects in New South Wales and Victoria. The right candidate will enjoy working within a high performing group, put team success before individual, be resilient and vigorous in their effort! This is not easy work, but highly rewarding and knowing that you are making a difference ensures job satisfaction.

Strong and sustained engagement with the whole disability sector is key in this role. The right person will need to enjoy facilitating workshops and undertaking community promotion. Other key tasks such as making proactive phone calls to other Disability Sector professionals, attending webinars, doing presentations and running meetings will be ongoing. Our staff build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the disability and housing sector and engage with people living with disability who have complex needs to promote the opportunity of independent living.

Written reporting and the daily use of our database will also need to become second nature as we have a high level of responsibility to both of our clients – the people living with disability and the SDA providers we work with. Our data is important as it helps inform the whole sector – working within this database is a priority.

And most importantly, you are passionate about supporting people with disability to find the home that is just right. You value lived experience and look to this to inform your work.
