Digital Product Lead

The Summer Foundation’s aim is to resolve the issue of younger people living in Nursing Homes. Our Mission is to create, lead and demonstrate long-term sustainable change that stops young people from being forced to live in nursing homes because there is nowhere else for them.

The Housing Hub Team are passionate, enthusiastic and professional. We support people with disability to see the possibilities for a home for themselves, have options to choose from and find the home that is right.

housinghub.org.au is the place to go for people who live with a disability, their supporters and professionals in the sector to search for accessible properties. We are in a period of growth where we launched the website 12 months ago and have experienced growth in users. We will now focus on product enhancement and revenue generation. We need to bring on a motivated and exceptional Digital Product Manager to lead the ongoing digital initiatives, product enhancements and development of paid features. The Key responsibilities of the Digital Product Manager will include, but not be limited to:

  • End to End Project and Agency Management - briefing, budget, scope to timelines, sign offs, user testing and debriefs
  • Develop product roadmap for the Housing Hub aligned to users needs and business objectives
  • Working with users, internal team and third-party vendors to develop product enhancements for the Housing Hub
  • Develop new paid products to generate revenue for the Housing Hub based on user needs
  • Project management of digital initiatives
  • Support the product development team in the development of digital tools and systems
  • Provide training, coaching and supervision to team members in line with our culture and operational priorities
  • Management of cost centre budget and associated reporting
  • Facilitation and prioritisation of feedback from users and stakeholders - both internal and external

The successful candidate will need to have qualifications and/or experience in the following:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Computer Science or similar
  • Over 5 years of solid experience in product management
  • Experience in developing multiple revenue streams
  • Experience working with external and internal stakeholders, outsourced vendors and development teams
  • Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research to make informed business decisions
  • Passion for product development and interest in technology, advertising and online market trends
  • Passion for achieving housing outcomes for people with disability

Additionally the Digital Product Lead will need to be adaptable, able to pivot quickly and thrive in an environment which is hectic, fun and the best bit, helps change people’s lives!
